Recently when the Shell has a visitor, priest Father Fritz Ligonde, there to bless the animals at the Shell Factory’s Nature Park, the local news was there too.

The blessing of the animals is an annual event at the Shell Factory’s Nature Park, and is done in honor of the Catholic celebration of St. Francis of Assisi. This year there were around 200 animals that were blessed during this event at the Nature Park, in North Fort Myers, Florida.
